We wanted to get down to the coast with Molly so she could run on the beach and see how she would respond to the sea. The rumble of the ocean can be quite strong so this was another noise to add to Molly's sound-cabulary!
She's doing fab though, getting used to the hoover, tolerating the dogs over in the next back garden but still getting a little over excited by the doorbell.
The Journey
We set off around midday, we were expecting a long one and four hours in the car needed breaking up, to be honest. So we took a couple of pit stops.
Why do motorway services not cater for pets?
Fair question really because dogs are hugely important to us Brits, a key part of family life. So I found it strange traipsing around the carpark at several services. There were a few other dog owners on the same jaunt, circling the carpark.
We travelled with Molly on the back seat in her car seat, harness and attached with the belt fix for dogs specifically. I think Molly is the best back seat traveller yet!! 4 hours, pit stops and this girl rocked her road trip!
Top tips for traveller to keep Molly occupied! I bought a stuffed hoof and she absolutely loved this and it kept her busy and focused for some of the time in the car.
